January 6, 2025         Avenue Preschool reopens from Winter Break

March 3, 2025           Community Registration for the 2025-26 school year (8:30-10:30 a.m.).  Office will be open for on-site, in-person

                                  registration. Details will be posted on the "News & Events" page.

March 31                   Spring Conference Prep--no classes; office will be open

​

April 14                      Spring Conferences--no classes; parent-teacher conferences will be held; office will be open

 

April 18-25                 Spring Break---APS closed

April 28                      APS reopens from Spring Break

​

​May 19                       Last Day for 3 day classes

​

May 20                       Last Day for 2-day, 4-day & 5-day classes

​

May 21, 22, 23           Snow make-up days if needed

​Weather or Emergency Closures:

​

• In the case of adverse weather situations or local emergency---by 7:00 a.m. Avenue Preschool will post a cancellation notice as our “greeting” on the office phone # 302-422-8775 and on our Facebook page. 

​

• Cancellation decisions are subject to change if weather conditions worsens later in the morning. 

​

• Avenue Preschool does not have delayed openings.  We do not delay our opening for fog and we do not delay for snow/ice.  

​

• If Avenue Preschool remains open during an adverse weather situation, we trust that you will use your own judgment as you consider the safety of the road conditions in your area.
